ANDRA FRANKS

U.S. Sales & Customer Service Manager

Andra joined GEODynamics® in 2008 with over 25 years of experience in Customer Service and Sales Management across multiple industries including Drilling and Completions. Prior to joining GEODynamics®, Andra worked for a major oilfield supply company as a Certified Purchasing Manager acquiring complete rig packages for both land and offshore. Andra has managed sales for multiple oilfield equipment manufactures. She has also held the title of US Sales Manager for OEM Sales and Distribution Networks in the Oil and Gas Industry. Andra studied Business Development at Weatherford College and TCC in Ft. Worth.

PAT BYRNE

VP Manufacturing

Pat joined GEODynamics in April 2012 after holding strategic manufacturing management roles outside the oilfield. He is a relentless problem solver with broad-based operations knowledge and proven expertise in tackling strategic, technical, and human issues to effect positive change on the organization. Pat holds a BSC in Industrial Engineering from Penn State and an MBA from UT – Dallas.

DAVID CUTHILL

JARROD PEARSON

R&D Lab Manager

Jarrod brings over 20 years technology and manufacturing management experience to GEODynamics. Jarod successfully designed and commissioned two state-of-the-art API RP 19B Section IV core flow laboratories in first two years with GEODynamics. Prior to joining the company in 2010 he spent 10 years with WellDynamics, where he was heavily involved in managing systems integration and the technology laboratory for all intelligent completions product lines. Jarrod served in the United State Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician.

Perforating Simulation & Technology Engineer

Before  joining  GEODynamics in 2014, David held various engineering roles at Weatherford, notably supporting the cased hole wireline group with job design and modeling of advanced perforating operations. David has been an active user of the PulsFrac™ dynamic modeling software for over 22 years. He is a co-inventor of the StimGun® propellant-assisted perforating system and inventor of a combination propellant-assisted/dynamic underbalance perforating method. He has authored technical papers ranging from topics on perforating & propellants to wellbore integrity logging. David is a member of SPE and a registered professional engineer with APEGA.

KEVIN GEORGE

Kevin George has 39 years experience in the oil and gas industry with an extensive background in Tubing Conveyed Perforating, tool design, and well completions.  Mr. George worked with Vann Tool Company and its successors from 1975 until co-founding Advance Completion Specialists in 1994.  Conceived, designed and developed many tools and accessories that are now considered essential equipment in the completion of oil and gas wells.   Served as the Engineering Manager responsible for all firing, venting, completion and gun systems at Advance Completions and its successor Expro International from 1994 until 2012.  Collaborated with oil and gas companies to design and develop systems including the industry leading one trip gravel pack system.  Also collaborated with Marathon Oil on the Excape [TM] Completion Process.   Mr. George has worked with GEODynamics in his current capacity since joining the company in 2012. Inventor or co-inventor of numerous [Approximately 30] US Patents and foreign patents.

JOHN HARDESTY

Principal Research Engineer

John Hardesty has 20 years of experience in engineering and experimental design of experiments for ballistic shaped charge development and evaluation, materials development, and heat transfer enhancement.  He has expertise in pressure vessel design for extreme pressure, hydraulic and flow system design, precision flow, pressure, and temperature measurement, high speed pressure measurement, mechanical design for ballistic events, and ballistic shaped charge product development for oil and gas applications, including powder metallurgy and reactive component powder metallurgy.  John is one of the foremost experts on simulating and evaluating the downhole perforation event with full scale shaped charges designed for deployment in modern oil wells.

TED PRICE

International Sales Manager

Prior to joining GEODynamics, Ted worked 21 years for Halliburton Energy Services in sales and managerial roles including Senior International Sales Rep and Business Development Manager for Jet Research Center. Much of his career has been dedicated to international sales in CIS, China, SE Asia, Africa & Latin America. Earlier in his career, Ted was a hydraulic work over specialist for Baker. Ted is a graduate of St Johns River College, FL.

BRADI CRUZ

Marketing Manager

Prior to joining GEODynamics in February 2012, Bradi was responsible for marketing, HSE and administration at oilfield startup, Thrubit LLC. She has experience in brand management, promotional products, event management, and marketing value assessment. Bradi is completing her studies in corporate communications and marketing at the University of Houston.

NATHAN CLARK

VP Engineering and Technology

Mr. Clark studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Houston.  He has over 23 years of experience in the design and development of shaped charges, explosive devices and completion tools for the oil industry.  He has developed numerous industry leading perforating systems for Western Atlas/Baker Atlas, Halliburton and GEODynamics.  He was one of the pioneers in inventing, developing and commercializing REACTIVE® Technology for oil field shaped charges.  He has completed special and classified projects for the United States Army, United States Air Force, United States Navy, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory and the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense and has 21 US Patents.  He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has also held a voting chair for the American Petroleum Institute for over 17 years.

Durg joined GEODynamics in 2013 with over 25 years of experience in Corporate Finance across multiple industries including Energy Services, Automotive, Electronics, and Consumer Goods. He earned a MBA in Finance and a BBA in Production Logistics Management, both degrees from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business.

Director, Business Development

Cameron joined GEODynamics as a junior sales representative and has worked his way through Territory, Regional, and National Sales Management positions before being named Director of Business Development in 2014. He leads the company’s Business Development Team and is responsible for the company’s overall sales strategy including identifying and building long-term partnerships with operating and service companies. Cameron studied business at Tarleton State University and is an active member in multiple SPE Chapters.

ROBERT DAVIS

President – Legacy Oil Tools Division

Rob has been with GEODynamics since its founding, serving as VP – Manufacturing and holding various other administrative management roles before moving full-time into his role at Legacy in August 2012. Previously he spent 7 years with Owen Oil Tools as Controller and IT Manager, and 9 years with GOEX International. Rob is co-inventor of the Saberjet slot perforator. He is a member of SPE and the Joshua ISD Board of Trustees. He holds a BBA in Finance from Texas Tech and an MBA from TCU.

MICHAEL POTTER

Mr. Potter is an entrepreneur and internationalist.  He has spent forty years in diversified domestic and global business interests.  The majority of his career is built around the energy sector; including the oil & natural gas, mining, explosives, propellants and metal working industries.  He has extensive experience in the development and service of various international markets.  Mr. Potter is co-founder, Board of Directors Member and an advocate of GEODynamics, Inc.  He is a member of the ISEE.  Mr. Potter proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and is a graduate of the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University and holds a BS Degree in Business Administration (1973).

DAVID S. WESSON, P.E.

CEO and Technical Committee Chairman

Mr. Wesson started his career in Halliburton’s Tools Research and Engineering group and later served as Engineering Manager of Halliburton’s Vann Systems TCP division. He was an executive (VP Engineering and Product Development) and principal at Owen Oil Tools starting in 1991 and served as President of the company from 1998 thru 2001. Mr. Wesson has served on the Probe Technology’s Board since the company was founded in 1994. He continues to serve as a consultant and board member today. In 2004, Mr. Wesson founded GEODynamics, Inc. and served as the company’s CEO until September 2009 and rejoined the company as CEO in February 2014. He has also served on the Board of Directors since 2004 and as Chairman of the Technical Advisory Committee since its inception in 2008. Mr. Wesson is the inventor or co-inventor on more than sixty (60) US patents. He has extensive patent licensing and technology commercialization experience. He is a registered professional engineer (TX 61016) and holds a BS degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University (1982) and a MBA degree from Southern Methodist University (EMBA 2004).
